Cirò and Melissa wine trails
The tour includes the visit of the Saracen Markets, a stop at the Librandi Winery and at local dairies for products tasting. A visit to the Aragonese Tower in Melissa and to the wine cellars located in Cirò and Melissa is also scheduled.
Excursions to local farms and food industries, with tasting of local products. The programme also offers the possibility to take part in the vintage taking place in Cirò.

Cirò
Cirò is located between the Ionian coastline and the Sila’s north-eastern end.
The village is surrounded, on one side, by a promontory culminating with Punta Alice, and by the divide of Malocutrazzo on the other side. Cirò, situated 351 m. above sea level, overlooks the flat coastline stretching between the mouth of the Santa Venere stream and the basin of the Lipuda river. The municipal area encompasses 70,10 kmq. of territory and 5 km. of coastline.
Cirò borders on Cirò Marina, Melissa, Carfizzi, Umbriatico, Crucoli and on the Ionian Sea. It is located 40 km. away from Crotone.
Melissa
Melissa is part of the Crotone municipality. The village is situated at 256 m. above sea level, while elevation in the area reaches m. 659 a.s.l. The total area comprises 50,94 kmq. of territory and a 6 km. long beach. Melissa borders on Cirò Marina, Cirò, Casabona, Strongoli, San Nicola dell’Alto and Carfizzi. It is situated 46 km. away from Crotone.
